I know it has been awhile, but.....

I really hope I can get back into this blogging thing. I need some much needed encouragement to start back up. I hate to say it, but since I have gotten internet on my phone, my computer has not seen me much. I have been lazy about getting on and updating my blog and even checking blogs. HELP!!! The main reason for starting this blog was to have a place to write all the special things my babies, now it seems like they are big kiddos, are doing and have said. I used to write all their sweet and fun things down on paper and I pulled out Ally's journal and realized I have not written anything since April of 2009! Can you believe this? I stopped writing it down because I started this blog. What has happened to me? Where has the past year and a half gone? We have done so much and Noah and Ally have grown up right before my eyes. I plan on getting back and uploading pictures and their doings soon. We have family in other states that would love to see them, so that will be my New Year's Resolution. I know that sounds silly, but that is something I want and need to do for myself.

If you still wonder if I am out there and ever peek to see if I ever update my blog, please comment and tell me I can do this again. I can't wait to catch on your lives and start reading again. I really miss it!! Thanks for listening to me sulk a little. Just wanted to get myself started! I can do this!!

Silver Dollar City

Noah and Abby on the rollercoaster

My mom, sister and the kids took a couple days off and went to Branson. We took the kiddos to SDC and they absolutely loved it! Noah and Ally both rode many of the rollercoasters. I was very impressed that Noah got on some of them. He is usually very cautious towards things like that. It was a hot day but the kids didn't seem to notice. Thank goodness for many rides that have water on them and for many of the kids area that have water toys. We went to eat at a place where the waiters sing while you eat. Our waiter had been on American Idol and Alexis and Abby (her friend) thought that was the neatest thing. He sang a song to them. It was fun to get to spend time with my mom and sister and we don't get to do that as often as I would like to.

You reap what you sow.....

This is my first pickin' out of my garden. It was actually a couple of wks ago. The squash has not done well since then, but I am still getting some cucumbers and we are starting to get some ripe tomatoes as well. It has been so much fun eating them and teaching the kiddos where their food is coming from. Their is nothing like a good tomatoe on a BLT!!

Wizard of Oz

My sis and I took the kids to see the play Wizard of Oz this past wk! It was totally worth it and we all loved singing along to all the songs(even mom). It kept their attention for the whole time. They didn't allow pictures to be taken, so I didn't get any pics of the actual play. The actors were incredible and the singing was amazing. For all you Wizard of Oz fans, the play Wicked is coming in November to LR and I highly recommend going to see it.

Ally and her friends!

Ally and Ashley

Ally and Jenna

Emery(white puppy), Emma(white pony), Emma 2(green pony)
baby Ally, Toto(brown puppy)

Ally loves her friends! She also loves all of her stuffed animals and babies. She names them all and carries all of them around at the same time. I had to take a picture of this so I don't forget! She makes me smile and I don't want her to ever stop playing like she does!

Ally's first dance recital!!

Ally had her first dance recital this past Friday night! It was just the cutest thing ever. Ms. Laura, one of my makeup diva friends, came over and dolled up my little diva! She was so excited to put on some makeup and getted all dressed up. Her dance routine was to the song Diamonds are a girls best friend. They wore really big diamond rings (from the Dollar Store) and neclace. All the girls did a great job and got a huge applause. They were the littliest ones out there and it was precious!
