Ally at the Bippity Boppity Boutique
Ally and her fairy godmother
Back in September, we took the kids out of school for a week and went on the best vacation ever to Walt Disney World. If I can give any advice on vacations, it would be to save up some money and go to Disney World. Travis and I talked about it and this vacation trumped any vacation we have ever been on (family or as a couple). This was the first big vacation we took all by ourselves as a family of 4 and we wouldn't have asked for it any other way. Disney World is truly magical and not just for kids. To see the joy in the eyes of Noah and Ally when they saw their favorite characters was priceless. The Magic Kingdom is so vibrant and colorful, you just can't stop smiling and watching for what jumps out at you next. We were at the gates of each park when they opened and we pretty much didn't leave to they closed. We wanted to make the most of our stay.
Noah favorite things were seeing Buzz Lightyear and Woody. We stood in a line for an hour to see them at the same to at Hollywood Studios. His favorite ride was the Buzz Lightyear ride at the Magic Kingdom. He was tall enough to ride every ride and so he did. He rode Splash and Thunder Mountain. The only mountain ride he didn't ride was Space Mountain. I rode that ride first to see if he would like it and I was scared during the whole ride so I figured he wouldn't like it.
Ally's favorite things were getting dressed up as a princess at the Bippity Boppity Boutique in Cinderella's castle and riding the Goofy Roller coaster at the Magic Kingdom. She loved seeing all the princesses, the fairies and of course Jessie, her favorite character. One of the cutest things that happened while we were at Hollywood Studios was during a Beauty and the Beast show, Ally was asked to be the little girl that received the rose from the prince at the end of the show. When the prince handed her the rose, Ally just smiled and had the cutest little wave to him. The whole audience "ahhhhhhed" at that moment. It was so sweet.
Travis and I loved all the food there! We were very impressed with all the character dinners and all the quick service meals. They were really pretty good. It was fun to see all your favorite characters come up to you while you are eating and sign autograph books and take pictures. We really enjoyed the dinner at 1900 Fairpark in the Grand Floridian because Cinderella, the Prince, the wicked stepmother and stepsisters were there. Boy, were they all in character. It was fun to see them acting like they do in the cartoon.
We definitely would love to go back one day. There were so many things we didn't get to do because it is just so big. It will be a wonderful memory to have for the rest of our lives.
